How to turn off the HUD in Ark Survival Evolved PC

Sometimes it is advantageous to turn off the HUD (Heads Up Display) in Ark Survival Evolved.  The floating names over dinos and structures can reduce frame rates.  It is also nice to remove the HUD to take a nice screenshot, or have a more immersive experience and increase frame rates.  Fortunately, it is easy to turn off the HUD in-game.  On PC, simply hit the backspace key, and the HUD disappears. To make it come back just hit backspace again. The floating names over the creatures and the information displayed on walls or other structures can be very distracting. Hopefully, this will help you guys out when you need a less cluttered screen in Ark.

Frame rates can drop with all the floating names in Ark Survival Evolved, so turn off the HUD temporarily.

With the HUD turned off, Ark can run smoother.
